NRG present a 2 stage VHF 88 - 108 MHz High Gain RF Power Amp, Ample Power Output at 12 Watts RMS

FM Transmitter RF Power Amplifier Construction Example

To make a Radio Frequency Power Amplifier, you will need double sided copper clad board, the components and a lot of patience. If you can't etch printed circuit boards, then you can use a sharp knife to cut the pads and islands that the components will be surface mounted to. Don't forget, you need to obtain a heatsink for the output power transistor! The type specified is Philips BLY89C but you can use the TRW type PT31963, available in our RF component page.
